Are you ready to play a key role in an Agile transformation within one of Belgium's largest digital banking environments? Join a multi-disciplinary product team driving end-to-end development of cutting-edge digital channels (web & mobile) for enterprise customers.We're looking for a Senior React Developer who can elevate the team's engineering standards and contribute to long-term success.What You'll DoAs part of an Agile squad, you will be responsible for both Dev and Ops activities and will work across the full product lifecycle.Your responsibilities include:Translating functional requirements into clean, high-quality codeDesigning, building, and maintaining high-performance applicationsLeading development on the front-end (React) — core part of the roleContributing to back-end (Java, Spring) components when neededWorking with APIs and external data sourcesEnsuring application performance, quality, and responsivenessApplying clean code principles and development best practicesIdentifying performance bottlenecks and fixing bugsCollaborating closely with cross-functional team membersParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives across the squadMandatory Technical SkillsDeep understanding of core JavaScriptProven expertise in ReactStrong experience with GitHands-on experience with Jest and React Testing LibraryClean Code principles (SOLID, design patterns)Practical experience with TDDWillingness to pair programA true Software Craftsperson mindsetNice to HaveJava, Spring, MavenDatabase experienceExperience in cloud-based environmentsYou thrive in a cross-functional Agile squad where:Knowledge sharing is naturalTeam success outweighs individual heroicsFeedback is embraced as part of continuous improvementYou occasionally step outside your primary role to help the team reach sprint goals
