Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (FSA) – Data Centre ProjectsLocation: Charleroi, Belgium Salary: €70,000 – €85,000 + Accommodation + Travel + Tax-Free AllowanceAbout the RoleWe're seeking two experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineers (FSA) to join a leading international contractor delivering high-spec data centre projects in Copenhagen.You'll play a key part in the Functional Systems Acceptance (FSA) process — ensuring all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest industry standards on a world-class mission-critical facility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute commissioning activities for all mechanical systems (HVAC, chilled water, CRAC/CRAH, BMS integration, etc.).Manage Functional Systems Acceptance (FSA) documentation and testing procedures.Review and approve commissioning plans, method statements, and test scripts.Coordinate between design, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless handover.Identify and resolve system issues during pre-functional and functional testing phases.Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.Prepare detailed commissioning reports and progress documentation.RequirementsDegree or diploma in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical commissioning within data centres, pharma, or other mission-critical environments.Strong understanding of FSA testing, HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, and controls integration.Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale projects.EU passport or right to work in the EU (preferred).What's on OfferCompetitive tax-free salary (€70,000–€85,000 DOE).Annual review.Fully funded accommodation and travel.Tax-free living allowance.Opportunity to work with a top-tier international contractor on cutting-edge data centre projects.Strong pipeline of projects across Northern Europe.
