DEV Engineer

Nexeo Belgium supports leading organizations in banking, finance, insurance, and public sectors through their digital transformation and agile delivery initiatives. We are currently looking for a DEV Engineer to join a high-performing Agile squad, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of high-value products within sprints. Mission Context The Agile team is a small, cross-functional group combining skills in analysis, design, development, testing, and integration to deliver complete product increments at the end of each sprint. As a DEV Engineer, you will: Apply your technical and analytical skills to deliver features and product components Collaborate with team members to ensure the sprint backlog is completed efficiently Go beyond your specific expertise to support the team in achieving its goals Adhere to Scrum values: focus, commitment, openness, respect, and courage Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and integrate solutions across the team's scope of work Collaborate closely with business, product, and technical team members to ensure high-quality delivery Share knowledge, communicate openly, and support continuous learning within the squad Contribute to process improvements to enhance software/hardware delivery speed and operational quality Participate actively in sprint planning, refinement, and review activities Profile Languages Dutch: Active + passive knowledge of other local language French: Active + passive knowledge of other local language English: Active + passive knowledge of other local language Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant development experience Hands-on experience as MF Developer / Technical Analyst Familiarity with existing tools and applications (including legacy systems) Previous experience in Agile methodology is a plus Experience in banking or financial services is highly valued Technical Skills Mandatory: MF development and technical analysis Strong understanding of the applications used within the team Willingness to learn and maintain expertise across the application landscape Preferable: Agile delivery experience Knowledge of banking systems Soft Skills Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset Team player with excellent communication skills Ambitious and goal-oriented Embody Agile values: focused, committed, open, respectful, courageous Promote continuous improvement in methods, tools, and delivery quality
