Job Summary

Manager Finance & Performance – responsible for advising and empowering clients to optimise their finance operations, drive performance improvements, and support their business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Advising and assisting clients in optimising their entire Finance function, including upskilling and fit‑to‑growth initiatives.
  • Optimising accounting processes in both transactional (order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, record‑to‑report) and monthly closing phases (consolidation, fast/smart close).
  • Design and implementation of Enterprise Performance Management, covering strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Leading Activity‑Based Costing, profitability improvement, investment analysis, and related projects.
  • Participating in performance‑improvement projects to deliver tailored, creative, and pragmatic solutions for complex problems.
  • Identifying and creatively solving complex issues for the CFO’s Office, including design and optimisation of Target Operating Models.
  • Managing multidisciplinary project teams, taking ownership of key deliverables and ensuring timely, high‑quality outcomes.
  • Developing client proposals that demonstrate a clear understanding of client requirements and a solution that meets those needs.
  • Managing client relationships and proactively detecting commercial opportunities.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in large, international corporations, preferably with consulting and/or audit exposure.
  • Working knowledge or relevant project experience in Accounting, Fast Close, Enterprise Performance Management, Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Management Reporting, Margin Controlling, and Financial Modelling.
  • Experience with audit tools such as Tagetik, Anaplan, Board, or OneStream is an asset.
  • Strong team spirit, client‑focused, quality‑driven mindset, with the ability to manage projects daily, including team management and coaching responsibilities.
  • Willingness to take ownership of key deliverables and day‑to‑day tasks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and fluency in French and/or Dutch is desirable.
  • Exposure to finance process improvement initiatives – systems, organisation, working capital, cash flow, cost reduction – is an asset.
