Voor een internationaal en innovatief productiebedrijf in Roeselare zoeken we een gedreven COO.
In deze strategische rol neem je de leiding over de productie- en logistieke operaties, met als doel efficiëntie, veiligheid en kwaliteit te optimaliseren.
Jouw rol
Je vertaalt de bedrijfsstrategie naar een gestroomlijnde en toekomstgerichte werking binnen productie en logistiek. Je zorgt voor een vlotte coördinatie tussen verschillende sites en begeleidt het nieuwbouwproject. Je stuurt het operations-team aan en zet in op continue verbetering van processen en procedures.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:
- Verantwoordelijk over een productieomgeving met 100+ medewerkers in een drie- ploegen systeem
- Aansturen en coachen van het managementteam (productie, logistiek, kwaliteit, techniek, aankoop).
- Procesoptimalisatie en strategische groei: implementeren en verbeteren van procedures en workflows.
- Coördineren van het nieuwbouwproject waarbij ze van twee aparte sites, 1 grotere site maken, inclusief overleg met architecten en budgetbeheer.
- Machinepark moderniseren: afstemming van de indienststelling van nieuwe machines.
- People management: motiveren en begeleiden van teams in een veeleisende, prestatiegerichte omgeving.
- Hands-on mentaliteit: aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer.
- Internationale afstemming met de vestiging in de VS.
Functie-eisen
- Ruime ervaring in een productieomgeving, idealiter in metaal of automotive.
- Sterke people manager met een natuurlijk leiderschap en het vermogen om een team te motiveren en te sturen.
- Strategisch en cijfermatig inzicht om de groei van de organisatie mee vorm te geven.
- Stressbestendig en probleemoplossend, blijft kalm en doortastend bij operationele uitdagingen.
- Hands-on en zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer, met voeling voor technische processen.
- Taalvaardig: Nederlands en Engels zijn cruciaal, Frans is een plus.
- Regio: Woonachtig in Oost- of West-Vlaanderen, dagelijks aanwezig op de site (geen structureel thuiswerk).
