Job DescriptionCollaborate with the Maintenance Shift Leader/Coordinator on the daily activities. Perform all maintenance operation tasks on work tools and building facilities.
ResponsibilitiesExecute tasks related to the facility maintenance and perform minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment (ex: preventive maintenance on conveyor, Sorter, ASRS and other machines, material order placement, equipment moving, etc.)Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance proceduresRespond to emergency maintenance requests as requiredInteract with the Help Desk Support of the material handling providers (Crisplant, Intelligrated) for the problem resolutionDaily gestion of the stock of spare parts (cycle count, quantity adjustment, …)Coordinate external subcontractorsQualificationsKnowledge of MS Office is requestedGeneral low voltage panel knowledge (‘TGBT’)Knowledge in the following areas is an asset:Have a good knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and pneumatic technology. Able to read the mechanical and electrical drawingPerform maintenance operations on work tools and building facilities in accordance with the preventive maintenance planAttention to detail – High degree of accuracy and attention to fine detailKnowledge in hydraulics and automationKnowledge of the conveying systemsSiemens S7 knowledgeGeneric skillsFluent in French, good knowledge of EnglishThe applicant should have the technical spiritOrganizational skillsCommunication – Communicate as well as possible with the other teams (Outbound, Inbound, and Replenishment & subcontractors)Reliability/AccountabilityCollaboration/Team – Working closely together with the other maintenance Technician/Shift Leader/CoordinatorDecision Making – Propose some organizational decisionsContinuous Improvement/Change orientationProblem solving – Able to analyze an issue and solve itWork Environment:Production environmentOccasionally lift up to 35 KilogramsThe applicant will be working in a logistics environment.
The function requires working periodically on Saturday and nightsThe applicant should be able to walk a lot all day long – few times in sitting
Experience
0 to 3 years’ experience in a similar jobKnowledge of conveying system is a plusUse of IT – Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Education:Preferred electromechanical technician A2BA4 certification.
