As a global leader in the construction and mining equipment industry, Komatsu delivers reliable, sustainable, and high-quality solutions that help our customers build a better future.To support the continued growth of our Africa Division, we are looking for a Segment Specialist Construction Machinery – a strategic and driven professional who will play a key role in developing and executing commercial initiatives across the African market.Your MissionAs a Segment Specialist Construction Machinery, you will be responsible for developing data-driven marketing strategies that drive business growth, strengthen our dealer network, and increase Komatsu's market presence across Africa. You will work closely with Regional Managers, distributors, and internal departments to ensure the successful implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect and analyze market intelligence informationSet up commercial campaigns & actions tailored to regional market specificitiesDevelop training materials, deliver webinars, and organize workshops for the Africa Dealer Network and KEISA teamsTrack campaign performance and optimize strategies for maximum impactCollaborate with Parts, Service, and Extended Warranty departments to create integrated customer solutionsConduct regular field visits to distributors and customers to gather insights and strengthen relationshipsRepresent Komatsu at customer sites and ensure smooth communication among all stakeholdersYour ProfileEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (required)MBA or advanced degreeExperience:3–4 years of experience in the construction equipment industry (OEM or distributor)Proven experience in distributor network development or dealer supportExperience working in AfricaSkills and Competencies:Strong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent communication and commercial acumenFluency in English (mandatory); French is an assetFlexible, proactive, and results-oriented approachCulturally aware and able to adapt to diverse environmentsReliable team player with a pragmatic mindsetWhat Komatsu OffersAt Komatsu, we believe in empowering our people to grow and succeed.We offer:A global company culture that values innovation, collaboration, and integrityOpportunities for professional growth and internal developmentThe chance to make a meaningful impact in an expanding marketA competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefitsIf you are ready to take on a dynamic role within a global organization and contribute to our growth story across Africa, we would love to hear from you.
