Within our department "Engineering & Property Services," we would like to take this role as innovator by handling the infrastructure in a safe, reliable, and efficient way, building an attractive workplace for all our employees. The sub-department Facilities Operations manages the critical buildings, HVAC, utilities (steam, cooling media, heating fluids, water systems, pressurized air, high voltage, nitrogen,...) and installations (steam generator, cooling cells, air handling units, clean rooms,..) on the sites of Beerse, Geel, and Olen; from the central production and distribution to our chemical and pharmaceutical production- and R&D buildings.
For the team responsible for the maintenance and exploitation of the production buildings and utilities in Geel, we are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:- Guard the compliance status of our GxP critical infrastructure and linked processes.
- Ensure that all technical installations and equipment are in line with current legislation.
- Assure that compliance / inspection readiness is met at all times.
- Provide professional advice, technical and scientific expertise on quality compliance linked to utility and building infrastructure.
- Follow day-to-day operational compliance activities and coach/guide operational colleagues with all aspects within GMP and exude operational excellence.
- Review system documents linked to changes and/or corrective actions of our installations.
- Review GAP assessments and align local procedures vs current (inter)national J&J standards.
- Support ongoing projects to deliver an efficient and effective design, right first-time commissioning, and qualification of the new installations, operational monitoring, and maintainability.
- Act as spokesperson during inspections/audits from authorities, customers, or internal J&J.
- Coach and share your expertise and experiences with junior peers.
- Experience in a quality or compliance function (5 years).
- Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent through experience (mechanical, electrical, industrial, bio).
- Knowledge of industrial / operational environment is a strong asset: product water, HVAC systems, pharma production, ...
- Strong skills in communication (English & Dutch both verbal & written) and a result-driven personality.
- Take initiative and, on top of being an autonomous colleague, be a genuine team player who contributes to results and a pleasant working environment.
- Punctual and precise.
