Voor een internationale logistieke speler zoeken wij een Port Operations Manager. Onze klant is gespecialiseerd in de opslag en overslag van goederen. We zoeken iemand voor hun team in Stabroek.
De Port Operations Manager leidt het dagelijkse reilen en zeilen van de terminal en zorgt ervoor dat alle operaties veilig, efficiënt en kosteneffectief verlopen. Met een sterke focus op servicekwaliteit, naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften en continue optimalisatie van logistieke processen, draagt deze functie bij aan een soepele en betrouwbare goederenstroom voor klanten.
Een Greep Uit Je Gevarieerd En Uitdagend Takenpakket
- Dagelijkse terminaloperaties beheren – Coördineren van het laden, lossen, opslaan en doorvoeren van ladingen, met optimaal gebruik van materieel en middelen.
- Veiligheid en regelgeving waarborgen – Toezien op naleving van maritieme en nationale veiligheidsvoorschriften (ISPS, SOLAS) en milieuregels, inclusief audits en risicobeheer.
- Team aansturen en ontwikkelen – Leidinggeven aan havenarbeiders en administratief personeel, inclusief werving, training en prestatiebeheer.
- Logistieke processen optimaliseren – Efficiënte coördinatie van de inbound en outbound goederenstroom en optimaal gebruik van opslagruimte.
- Kwaliteit en klanttevredenheid garanderen – Klantgerichte operaties verzekeren, klachten analyseren en verbeteringen doorvoeren.
- Kosten en budgetten beheren – Efficiënt inzetten van middelen om kosten te minimaliseren en operationele efficiëntie te verhogen.
- Plannen en coördineren – Samenwerken met interne teams om werkprocessen en continue verbeteringen te realiseren.
- Prestatieanalyse en rapportage – KPI's monitoren, resultaten rapporteren aan het management en verbeterstrategieën implementeren.
Profiel kandidaat
Wie zoeken we?
- Minstens 10 jaar ervaring als leidinggevende in een maritieme terminalomgeving, bij voorkeur in breakbulk.
- Ervaring in het aansturen van CEPA-personeel en een grondige kennis van terminaloperaties.
- Sterke focus op veiligheid en naleving van voorschriften.
- Analytisch sterk, in staat om problemen structureel aan te pakken en KPI's op te volgen.
- Ondernemend en oplossingsgericht, altijd gericht op efficiëntie en verbetering.
- Voelt zich thuis op de terminal, weet wat er leeft en verdiept zich in processen en operaties.
- Uitstekende communicatie- en people skills om teams te inspireren en motiveren.
- Duidelijke besluitvorming en resultaatgericht werken staan centraal.
