Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

• Hiring a business analyst for the IT (ICT) department of the Client

Technical skills:

• At least 10 years of demonstrable professional experience in performing business and functional analyses
• Demonstrable professional experience in analysis techniques (UML, mockups,...)
• Demonstrated professional experience using AI in analytics, mockups, applications, document processing, Agents and Agentic
• Demonstrated professional experience in database design methods (e.g. ERD)
• Demonstrable (professional) experience in testing (functional tests, regression tests, test scenarios, test session,...), also when using AI
• Demonstrable professional experience with multiple (complex) projects at the same time
• Demonstrable practical experience with AI tools: various LLMs, Figma, MS Power Automate
• Demonstrable experience with web applications
• Demonstrable knowledge of BPMN
• Demonstrable knowledge of databases and PL/SQL
• Demonstrable professional experience with Scrum
• Demonstrable experience with the tool Mockups tools such as Balsamiq, Figma
• Demonstrable experience with project and change management

The position is located in the Digitization and Organization Department within the Client.

This department is responsible for:

• The coordination and implementation of the Organizational and HR Policy;
• The coordination and implementation of the logistics policy;
• The coordination of information policy, information management and support for the digitisation of the organisation;
• The coordination of data policy, data management;
• The coordination and implementation of the IT policy;
• The coordination and implementation of the communication policy, including the Flemish Rural Network;
• The financial management of the Flemish paying agency, the Flemish Investment Fund, the financial instrument for the Flemish
• fisheries and aquaculture sector and the Common Agricultural Policy Fund;
• The Internal Audit.
• It is for the benefit of the IT Development Department Within the Digitalisation and Organisation Department; the Client wishes to hire a business analyst for the Siros team. xirbnpk
• This team takes care of analyzing, implementing and maintaining applications that support the measures and processes of various departments in a user-friendly way. This concerns the applications for KwaTra, Interventions, School fruit, Agricultural monitoring network, Milk deliveries, Fisheries investments (Pesca), Animal.
• It also concerns supporting other IT teams and customer-side teams in the use of AI.

Skills

• Demonstrable (professional) experience in testing (functional testing, regression testing, test scenarios, test session,...), including when using AI
• Demonstrable experience in general business operations with application in the field of ICT.
• Proven experience with business process development and optimization (BPM)
• Proven professional experience with analysis techniques (UML, mockups,...)
• Proven professional experience using AI in analytics, mockups, applications, document processing, Agents, and Agentic
• Demonstrated professional experience in database design methods (e.g. ERD)
• At least 10 years of demonstrable professional experience in performing business and functional analyses
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
• Demonstrable experience with the tool Balsamiq, Figma
• Demonstrable experience with project and change management
• Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management
• Proven experience with web applications
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the various Project Management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
