CMC Statistician

Consultancy mission to start: Early January 2026- freelance or employee contract End Date: End of December 2026 (possible extension) Location: Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium+ remoteThe role will be in the “biologics early development” group (products under development, analytical for gene therapy, one commercial product) in a pharmaceutical company.Responsibilities- Handle internal statistical requests (no single project, depends on company priorities).- Perform Design of Experiments (DoE).- Statistical analyses for development and quality control (bioassays, USP guidelines).- Statistical programming (mainly R, some SAS for transition).- Write reports in English.- Collaborate with internal clients and cross-functional teams.Must Have- Strong statistical skills (including mixed models).- R programming (mandatory).- Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE).- Fluent English (written and spoken).- Master’s degree in Statistics (minimum).Nice to Have- Experience in pharma / CMC.- Knowledge of bioassays and USP 1032, 1033, 1034.- Familiarity with stability studies (ICH).- PhD (preferred but not required).- French (helps integration).- SAS knowledge (for transition).Work condition :- Minimum 40% on-site (ideally 2 days/week, usually Tuesday and Thursday).- Flexible depending on meetings and projects.Offer : Group insuranceHospitalization insurance 7 euros meal voucher per dayReimbursement km or company car Monthly allowance (80 euros net per month)A 13th monthA rate as a freelancer is also possible.
