B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming new Senior Test Engineer our Medical Device team. As a Senior Test Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organisation focused on innovation. You will join a multidisciplinary R&D organization developing embedded medical devices in a highly regulated environment. Your role is to define, automate, and execute validation and test activities to ensure product performance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, FPGA, and quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Your Responsibilities: Analyze the system architecture of embedded medical devices (microcontrollers, FPGAs, analog/digital components) and derive test strategies from functional and safety requirements. Define, document, and maintain test plans at unit, integration, and system levels, ensuring full traceability to requirements. Design and develop a pytest-based test framework , including software tools, automation infrastructure, and hardware interfaces. Implement automated test scripts for functional validation , performance testing , and regression testing. Execute test campaigns, analyze results, and report defects and anomalies. Collaborate with design teams to support root cause analysis and issue resolution . Work closely with hardware, firmware, FPGA, and quality teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and risk management requirements (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO 14971). Your Profile: Master’s degree in Electronics , Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems , or a related field. Strong understanding of embedded electronics in regulated environments (microcontrollers, FPGAs, analog/digital interfaces). Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet . Experience in test bench development and automation using Python and/or LabVIEW. Proficient with measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and debugging techniques. Comfortable working with version control systems (Git ) and CI tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins ). Familiarity with requirements-based testing, traceability, and verification practices. Meticulous, analytical, and structured mindset with strong communication skills . Proactive attitude with a strong focus on quality and patient safety. What can you except as a B.E.S. consultant?
