Apps IT is currently looking for the above for a global client and potential long-term project.

Detailed Role Requirements

  • Should know the Oracle IaaS and PaaS cloud Architecture
  • Should know how to build complex landing zones on OCI
  • Should know the Networking Architecture (e.g., fast connect and interconnectivity setup between cloud and on-premise)
  • Particular interest in Infrastructure Service Design, Cyber Security/InfoSec/Cyberthreat Analytics; Compliance; Network Infrastructure
  • Should have hands-on experience in designing complex network & security architectures
  • Have hands-on knowledge to plan and implement a security solution for your Hybrid or Public Cloud environments
  • Have a good understanding of OCI Core/native Security features
  • Should know how to secure custom applications and manage user access to applications using Oracle Identity Cloud Service
  • Should have hands-on knowledge to deploy and manage the OCI Network Firewall, Palo NGFW
  • Detect, investigate, and remediate a full range of security threats
  • Develop proofs of concept to demonstrate proposed technical solutions as required
  • Should have good experience in applying Secure-By-Design principles for OCI Landing Zone
  • Should have experience designing workloads for High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Cloud Security
  • Should have an in-depth understanding of FastConnect, VPN, Regions, Availability Zones, Load Balancing, DNS, etc.
  • Should have an understanding of Firewalls, encryption, IDS, IPS, etc.
  • Should have experience in server or datacenter migration
  • Should have good experience on Linux/Unix OS and extensive knowledge of Shell Scripting and automation
  • Experienced in Datacentre, Workload, and Application migrations to cloud
  • Deep IaaS business transformation, delivery, and optimization expertise, ideally across Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud environments
  • Experience with infrastructure architectural design in some of the following areas: Compute, storage, and network design concepts. Bare metal, Hypervisors, HA, High Security Design, Clustering, Virtualization, Containers, Reporting, Backup, and Disaster Recovery; Cloud Native Development and/or integration, PaaS, DevOps.
  • Knowledge/experience in some of the following areas: Oracle Cloud, KVM, Docker, Chef, Puppet, or other well-known, modern virtualization, IaaS, and PaaS toolsets.
  • Operations experience, reporting, management and compliance, capacity planning, virtualization, provisioning automation
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to different stakeholders, demonstrate smart design techniques, and mentor other team members.
