C++ / Full Stack Developer (Hybrid: Leuven & Louvain-la-Neuve) On behalf of our client, we are looking for a driven, pragmatic C++ Developer with a true can-do mindset. About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer, you will join an environment with a rich history. You will work on existing (legacy) applications while being given the space and responsibility to proactively brainstorm and implement modernizations and improvements.
You will work in a hybrid model with a physical presence 2 days a week on-site: 1 day per week: Leuven 1 day per week: Louvain-la-Neuve (Boulevard de l'Europe 131, 1300 Wavre) Remaining days: Remote / Flexible Your Profile Must-Haves (Core Knowledge) Languages & Frameworks: Strong knowledge of C++, C# .NET, JavaScript, and HTML. Databases: Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, and SQL Migrations.
Architecture & Integration: Knowledge of RESTful web services and message bus architectures (e.g., Hangfire or RabbitMQ). Language Skills: Fluency/strong knowledge of French is essential due to team interaction and the Louvain-la-Neuve location. Dutch is also a major asset. Mindset: Pragmatic, proactive, and comfortable working in legacy IT environments. You know how to maintain stability while driving innovation. Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points) Frontend frameworks such as React or Angular. Experience with WPF. Knowledge of Build Automation (CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity). xlxgzvr Basic IT infrastructure knowledge: Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), and Azure.
