Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only five years after being founded, close to 8 million citizens use the itsme® app to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched the itsme app in 17 European countries, with the ambition of becoming an internationally leading player. We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, whose mission will be to test and set up the test automation framework for the itsme® app and the underlying Backend. What your job looks like You are part of the multidisciplinary itsme® Quality Assurance team. You develop and maintain the new test automation framework for the itsme® app and its underlying Backend (approach, tools & methodology). Together with your colleagues, you create the necessary scripts to execute all required test cases and to create the required test data. You understand the acceptance criteria of each user story and draft, execute the required test plan and report on it. Responsible for creating, enhancing, and running automation test scripts. You help in improving our testing practices to further increase the overall quality of our itsme® app. You strive for continuous improvement and support the overall DevOps adoption (from a testing perspective). You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in an IT work environment You master Object Oriented Programming concepts and have hands-on experience with JAVA You master test automation for mobile/web apps and are able to perform API testing of the underlying Backend. You master versioning systems concepts and have hands-on experience with Git/GitHub. You have relevant experience in the setup of iOS and Android UI automation frameworks (e.g. Appium, XCUITest and the integration in a CI/CD pipeline (from scratch). Managed end-to-end test automation life cycles (automation feasibility study, automation test design, test environment setup, test script development, execution and reporting). You have worked with some of the following applications: Jira, QC, Octane, Cucumber, Firebase, Jenkins, GitLab, Jmeter, … You understand how cloud technology works and what this represents as a challenge from a testing perspective. You like to look for solutions, share your knowledge and proactively come up with improvements or new ideas. You have experience with environments where security and data privacy are of utmost importance. You are a team player who shares his/her knowledge and enjoys celebrating joint achievements You are service and client-oriented You speak and write English fluently and are fully proficient in French or Dutch.
