Nexeo Belgium is looking for an Operations Officer – KYC to strengthen the Financial Security team of a leading financial institution in Belgium.The mission focuses on onboarding and monitoring corporate clients by ensuring compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) policies. You will play a key role in customer acceptance analysis, recertification, and risk assessment to guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and mitigate financial risks.Your missionAs an Operations Officer – KYC, you will be part of the KYC OPS Legal Entities team within the Client Service Center (CSC). You will contribute to the efficient and compliant management of new and existing client relationships.Key responsibilitiesPerform onboarding of new legal entity clients, analyzing acceptance in line with KYC policies.Conduct recertification of existing clients, including periodic reviews and ad-hoc updates when new risk indicators arise.Ensure high-quality and accurate execution of KYC processes in compliance with regulations.Collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve KYC-related issues.Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure process compliance.Your profileEducation & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree.Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in KYC or a related area is an asset.Strong interest in finance and banking products.Technical skillsMandatory: Proficiency in MS Office and good knowledge of IT tools.Preferred: Knowledge of KYC processes.Soft skillsStrong communicator with excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills.Customer-oriented with the ability to work independently.Stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-driven.Highly accurate, precise, and quality-minded.LanguagesFluent in Dutch and French (written and spoken).Very good knowledge of English.We offerA dynamic role in the Financial Security team of a leading institution.A hybrid work model: 50% on-site, 50% homeworking.The opportunity to develop your expertise in KYC and financial security.A collaborative and multicultural work environment.
