We are on the hunt for a Business Development Manager to execute all elements of the Edgard & Cooper international expansion strategy, delivering the sales objectives, whilst liaising with our logistics and finance team to find the best route to market. You will report into our Pack Lead for Developing & New Markets and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver a plan to launch and grow our brand in all relevant markets, identifying key partnerships to enable sustainable growth. What will be in your bowl? Working with the Pack Lead for Developing & New Markets to develop & execute the strategy to expand the brand into new horizons with focus on EMEA. This will include identifying key partners, travelling to regions of interest and defining the route to market. Preparing for launch in new markets by travelling to train the relevant teams, making sure all the information & materials are available to our new partners and tracking results. Working closely with Finance & Operations to define all the details of launching into a new market including contracts & delivery requests. Growing key strategic accounts that you will open, locking & managing JBPs and focusing on the long term growth of our partnerships. Effective management and reporting on the Sales P&L, ensuring budgets are met, investment is kept in line whilst making ongoing recommendations to drive additional growth. What skills & tricks should you bring? 3+ years in sales in CPG. You have knowledge of the European retail landscape and a proven sales track record. You are entrepreneurial, driven & tenacious. You love to travel & have a resilient mentality. You have the ability to build solid relationships with customers through exceptional influencing and negotiating skills. Experience of managing full Sales P&Ls and proven ability to deliver on budget. You are hands-on, and a strategic thinker, with a strong commercial mindset. You have an ethical approach to everything you do & you love pets. Pet experience is a plus. Not sure if you tick all the boxes but our role truly excites you?
