Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Solution Specialist – Communication Tools to join our client's Digital Workplace – Communication product area in Brussels.

The role focuses on supporting, configuring, integrating, operating and continuously improving communication applications used across the organization. You will work closely with Product Owners, technical teams, business stakeholders, key users and external IT providers to ensure applications meet business requirements and deliver reliable user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and analyze functional and technical requirements for communication-focused software solutions.
• Configure applications according to customer and business requirements.
• Coordinate the implementation of requirements across existing applications and solutions.
• Initiate and contribute to software development and application enhancements.
• Integrate applications into the wider enterprise application and system landscape.
• Support application testing by preparing, executing and evaluating test scenarios.
• Support the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, usability and efficiency.
• Support the Product Owner with license negotiations, SLA definition and supplier management.
• Assist with IT cost estimates and advise on appropriate team composition.
• Advise key users on application best practices.
• Perform market analysis and fit-gap analysis to identify suitable solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external IT providers to resolve application-related issues.
• Contribute to an Agile way of working and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Must Have

• University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with web technologies.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Hands-on experience with one or more CMS platforms such as:
• Sitecore
• DotNetNuke
• Unily
• or equivalent CMS solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 / Microsoft 365.
• Experience planning, developing, operating and continuously improving software applications.
• Experience with application integration and enterprise IT environments.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
