For one of our clients, a renowned Belgian insurance broker and financial services provider, we are currently looking for an experienced Investment Advisor.

Our client supports private individuals, self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs throughout their financial journey, offering tailored advice across insurance, pension planning, investments and financing.
This role is specifically focused on self-employed clients, entrepreneurs and business owners, rather than traditional retail banking clients. You will act as a trusted financial advisor, helping clients structure and optimise their personal and professional financial situation.
As a Life Planning & Investment Advisor, you will manage and develop an existing portfolio of self-employed professionals, entrepreneurs and private clients with more complex financial needs.
Your role goes beyond recommending individual products. You will take a holistic approach to financial planning, understanding your clients' personal and professional objectives and developing strategies around their investments, pension planning, insurance and wealth.
You will build long-term relationships with your clients and act as a bridge between them and other specialists such as accountants, lawyers, bankers and investment advisors.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor for self-employed professionals, entrepreneurs and private clients.
- Analyse clients' personal and professional financial situations and identify their long-term objectives.
- Develop tailored financial and wealth planning strategies aligned with their life projects.
- Advise on Life & Pension, investments and wealth planning.
- Take into account relevant aspects of tax law, corporate law and wealth planning.
- Manage and develop your clients' investment and financial portfolios.
- Regularly review financial strategies to ensure they remain aligned with changes in clients' personal and professional situations.
- Manage and further develop an existing portfolio of clients.
- Meet clients at the office or visit them to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Build long-term relationships based on trust, expertise and high-quality advice.
- Follow up proactively on client needs and ensure that submitted cases are managed through to completion.
- Identify opportunities to broaden the relationship through relevant solutions and collaboration with other specialists.
- Develop your client portfolio through targeted prospecting and networking.
- Participate in commercial initiatives, events and professional networking activities.
- Contribute to strengthening the company's presence and reputation in your region.
- Identify opportunities to develop long-term relationships with new entrepreneurs, self-employed professionals and private clients.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments to identify relevant cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Act as a bridge between your clients and external specialists such as accountants, lawyers, bankers and investment advisors.
- Stay up to date with developments in financial and tax legislation.
- Maintain accurate client databases and ensure appropriate reporting to management.
- Share information and expertise with colleagues to contribute to a strong client experience.
- Report directly to the Sales Manager.
- You have at least 4 years of professional experience in financial advice, ideally gained within a bank, financial institution, insurance broker or similar environment.
- You have demonstrable experience advising self-employed professionals, entrepreneurs and/or business owners on their personal and professional financial situation.
- Experience with Life & Pension, investments, wealth planning or financial planning is essential.
- You hold the necessary FSMA authorisations to provide financial advice to clients.
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree
