We are focused on growing a sustainable business centred around our people, our clients and trade partners.We now wish to recruit an Senior Project Engineer to coordinate, oversee and manage numerous projects.The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering\Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.ResponsibilitiesOn a day to day basis you will be involved in the following activities:Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with our clients. Effectively communicating with both internal & external stakeholders. Establishing project objectives in line with our clients and ensure goals & timelines are achieved. Executing projects via the PM Group Quality and Management systems. Responsibility for projects technical and commercial delivery. Developing & implementing appropriate project execution strategy. Establishing project resource requirements and leading\motivating the project team. Ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations. Developing & maintaining project budgets. Managing development of project plans with focus on achievement of project goals. Providing performance updates/reports views for identification of variances and corrective action. Liaising with Senior management with regular project performance status. QualificationsYou will have the following:Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar A minimum of 6 - 9 years’ experience in the Project Management of medium to large capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning An excellent record in Health & Safety Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding\experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle An advanced qualification in Project Management (ideally) What you will get:Attractive remuneration, while working in a multi-disciplinary environment The opportunity to work on a portfolio of very large projects Great career development Why PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
