Context

  • The Clean Utilities department manages and ensures the continuity of all electrical installations and utilities. The team is responsible for preventive/corrective maintenance, improvement projects, and supporting production and quality processes. To maintain operational reliability, the department seeks an experienced E&I Technician to join the team, with a path toward integration into the on-call system after an onboarding period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly and effectively to technical failures to minimize production downtime.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and technical optimization projects.
  • Perform tasks and complete documentation according to GMP, safety, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for operators and production leads regarding electrical and instrumentation issues.
  • Support production with minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
  • Follow the CMMS (Infor – Datastream) for maintenance scheduling and documentation.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain low-voltage distribution panels (up to 400V), emergency power systems, lighting systems, PLC-controlled systems, and more.
  • Assist with calibration, validation, and qualification of new or modified instrumentation.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (production, quality, engineering) and external contractors.

Technical Skills Required

  • Reading/interpreting electrical diagrams and P&IDs
  • Use of measurement tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Knowledge of VFDs, motor drives, PLC programming (Siemens S7) and HMI basics
  • Familiarity with instrumentation protocols (4-20mA, HART, Profibus, etc.)
  • Experience with CMMS systems for maintenance planning/documentation
