Drive decisions around infrastructure, cloud environments, DevOps, security, and scalability. Define engineering best practices, development standards, and long‑term technical roadmaps. Contribute hands‑on through prototyping, coding, and code reviews to ensure technical excellence. Build and oversee data engineering pipelines for reliable data ingestion, transformation, and validation. External Partner Oversight Serve as the primary technical counterpart to outsourced development partners. Review architecture and code deliverables for quality, scalability, and maintainability. Ensure external engineering work aligns with product goals and user experience standards. Cross‑Functional Integration Work closely with scientific teams to translate domain expertise into scalable software components. Support product leadership in converting scientific and customer needs into actionable technical tasks. Collaborate directly with enterprise customers on integrations, secure configurations, and data pipelines. Guide customer IT and data teams through secure data transfer and formatting requirements. Act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring solutions meet scientific, technical, and business needs. Mentor and upskill junior in‑house developers in coding, architectural thinking, and delivery. Foster a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Your Profile 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including SaaS platform architecture. Proven experience designing and delivering scalable cloud‑based platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.). Strong hands‑on expertise with DevOps, CI/CD, and integrating complex systems. Experience managing outsourced development teams with clear accountability. Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, JAX). Familiarity with microservices, API design, security best practices, and ML‑specific architecture. Ability to translate scientific and ML requirements into robust software implementations. Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Confident in customer‑facing discussions and technical solution design.
