Your new company Our client is an innovative company in the health technology sector, specializing in the development of advanced medical solutions. Your new role This role combines strategic sourcing, procurement, and production planning to ensure a seamless flow of materials supporting production, customer demand, and inventory goals. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, sales, and quality teams. Planning & Coordination - Develop and maintain supply and production plans using demand forecasts, historical data, and business requirements. - Perform MRP runs and ensure timely ordering of raw materials and components. - Optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock. - Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and sales to align supply plans with production schedules and customer demand. Procurement & Vendor Management - Place, track, and manage purchase orders with suppliers. - Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate lead times, prices, and delivery schedules. - Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues proactively. - Ensure compliance with internal quality and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA). - Support new product introductions with timely procurement of parts. Data & Reporting - Maintain accurate material master and purchasing data in the ERP system. - Analyze KPIs such as inventory turns, supplier on-time delivery, and PO accuracy. - Participate in S&OP, production meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your profile Required - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. - at least 3 years of experience in a Buyer/Planner or related role. - Experience with MRP/ERP systems. - Strong Excel and data analysis skills. - Solid understanding of supply chain principles, demand planning, and purchasing best practices. Preferred - Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical device, aerospace, pharma). - Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and ISO standards. - APICS/CPIM or similar certification is a plus. - Experience working with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
