YOUR MISSION

As a(n) Senior Security Engineer - Incident Response, your mission will be to develop the CSIRT service.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  1. Utilize your expertise in incident response to proactively identify and mitigate security threats.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and improve security measures.
  3. Conduct thorough security assessments and provide actionable recommendations to enhance our security posture.
  4. Stay informed on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  5. Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation.
  6. Provide expertise during security incidents, leading efforts to contain and remediate issues.
  7. Train and mentor other team members on incident response best practices and procedures.
  8. Install, administer, configure, setup, upgrade, and test security systems and tools to safeguard our infrastructure.
  9. Monitor and ensure service continuity, intervening as necessary to restore functionality.
  10. Optimize and automate security administration processes and implement monitoring tools.
  11. Setup feedback mechanisms to increase the quality of other security services (SOC, Threat, Vulnerability management, etc.)
  12. Perform log analysis, forensic investigations, and root cause analysis.
  13. Contribute to ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Availability, Change, and Configuration Management.
YOUR TEAM

You will be joining the Security Operations team, whose mission is to provide an agile and cross-functional cybersecurity service to both NRB and its customers, in order to protect them and prevent security attacks, and if any to limit their consequences as much as possible.

The team comprises 21 people (professions, job functions, experts in, ...) and is part of the Cybersecurity department.

YOUR PROFILE
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in incident response or a related field.
  2. Knowledgeable in handling various types of security incidents, including malware analysis, phishing, ransomware, and insider threats.
  3. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
  4. Strong understanding of network protocols and security architecture.
  5. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
  6. Experience with access control systems and identity management solutions.
  7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly assess security incidents and determine effective remediation steps.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  6. Critical Thinking: Ability to think logically and critically to evaluate threats, develop mitigation strategies, and improve incident response processes.
  7. Adaptability: Ability to swiftly adapt to changing threat landscapes and respond to live incidents dynamically.
  8. Time Management: Effective prioritization and organization of tasks to handle multiple incidents simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Leadership: Ability to lead incident response efforts, guide team members, and manage the incident response lifecycle.
  10. Empathy and Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing one's own emotions and those of others, especially during stressful situations to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  11. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, including during mitigation and remediation efforts.
  12. Ethics and Integrity: Strong ethical grounding and integrity, essential for handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
