Ter versterking van ons MSAT-team zijn we op zoek naar een Downstream Process Engineer om de productie van biologische geneesmiddelen te ondersteunen. Deze functie is cruciaal om de robuustheid, prestaties en naleving van zuiveringsprocessen binnen een GMP-omgeving te garanderen. ABOUT THE POSITION: Technische ondersteuning bieden bij downstream processen zoals filtratie, chromatografie, UF/DF, enz. Deelnemen aan procesoverdrachten van ontwikkeling naar commerciële productie, met inachtneming van kwaliteits- en veiligheidsvereisten. Bijdragen aan het oplossen van technische problemen en het uitvoeren van onderzoeken bij afwijkingen of non-conformiteiten. Uitvoeren van prestatie- en optimalisatiestudies van downstream processen in samenwerking met productie- en ontwikkelteams. Deelnemen aan procesvalidatie en het opstellen van technische documentatie (protocollen, rapporten, risicoanalyses). Volgen van procesprestatie-indicatoren en bijdragen aan continue verbetering via data-analyse en statistische tools. ABOUT YOU: Ingenieursdiploma of Master/PhD in biotechnologie, procesengineering of life sciences. Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in downstream processing binnen de farmaceutische of biotechnologische sector. Goede kennis van zuiveringstechnieken (chromatografie, filtratie, enz.) en bijbehorende apparatuur. Grondige kennis van GMP-vereisten, ICH-richtlijnen en validatiepraktijken. Vermogen om samen te werken met kwaliteits-, productie-, ontwikkelings- en regelgevingsafdelingen. Analytisch denkvermogen, nauwkeurigheid, zelfstandigheid en sterke communicatieve vaardigheden. Goede beheersing van technisch Engels (schriftelijk en mondeling).
