Your Impact at ScyllaAs a Full Stack Developer at Scylla, you will be at the heart of building our completely renewed IT landscape. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain modern applications that will support critical business operations across our offices and ships.You will work on new architectures, develop integrations, and co-create digital solutions that power Scylla's overall efficiency, quality, and automation efforts. You will have the opportunity to explore how AI can enhance our applications, help shape early AI initiatives, and support Scylla's ambition to further expand its use of intelligent technologies. As part of a brand-new IT team, you will have the opportunity to shape not only the systems we build, but also the way we work.What You'll Be Responsible ForFull Stack DevelopmentDevelop and maintain modern web applications using both frontend and backend technologies.Work with frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, Python, or PHP.Build secure and scalable APIs, data layers, and integration logic.Application & System ArchitectureContribute to the design of new application architectures as part of Scylla's IT transformation.Implement reliable integrations between internal and external systems.Design solutions that are performant, secure, and future-proof.Collaboration & InnovationWork closely with Business Analysts to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.Participate in special IT-related projects linked to new ships or operational initiatives.Explore opportunities to integrate AI into applications and workflows.Continuous ImprovementBreak down complex problems into actionable development tasks.Contribute to Agile ceremonies and deliver work in iterative, incremental phases.Identify areas for improvement in performance, user experience, and architecture.What You Bring OnboardMinimum of 4 years of experience as a full stack developer.Strong experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular).Strong experience with backend technologies (Node.js, .NET, Python, or PHP).Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and API development.Experience with Agile methodologies.Fluent in Dutch and English.Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.Nice to HaveKnowledge of AI technologies or willingness to deepen expertise in applying AI within applications.Interest in contributing to the company's growing focus on AI-driven solutions, automation, and smart functionality in our future applications.Your Ideal ProfileProactive, solution-oriented, and self-driven.Excited about building new applications from scratch.Open-minded and unafraid to bring forward new ideas.Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.Team player with excellent communication skills.Why Join UsThis is a rare opportunity to step into a newly formed IT team where you can leave a real mark.
