Full Stack Mobile Developer

Job Description

We're seeking a versatile Full Stack Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team in Antwerp, Belgium. The ideal candidate will contribute to cutting-edge solutions across our entire software stack, with a strong emphasis on mobile development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  2. Contribute to back-end services and front-end web applications.
  3. Collaborate closely in a small, agile team to brainstorm, design, and shape solutions.
  4. Adapt to various development tasks across the full stack.
  5. Mobile: Kotlin Multiplatform, iOS (SwiftUI/Swift), Android (Jetpack Compose/Kotlin).
  6. Frontend: HTML/CSS/TypeScript, VueJS.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in software development.
  2. Extensive Kotlin experience (or Java experience + willingness to learn Kotlin).
  3. Android development or iOS development (at least basic knowledge or interest in the other mobile platform).
  4. Out-of-the-box thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to new technologies.
  6. Proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience with Spring Boot backend development (Java or Kotlin).
  2. Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform.
  3. Knowledge of infrastructure as code, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
  4. Experience with or interest in learning technologies in our stack.

What We're Looking For

We don't expect candidates to be experts in all areas but are seeking someone with enough experience and interest to work across the full stack. The work distribution is expected to be roughly 60% mobile, 20% backend, and 20% frontend. We prefer a medior/senior profile who can work independently with minimal supervision.
