Key Responsibilities May Include: Developing and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with overall business goals, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Identifying and implementing opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and waste reduction across the supply chain. Building and managing supplier relationships , negotiating contracts, and ensuring ethical sourcing and sustainability practices. Overseeing inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery. Leading the adoption of supply chain technologies (e.g., SCM software, WMS, predictive analytics, AI for forecasting). Developing and implementing strategies for supply chain risk management and resilience against disruptions (e.g., geopolitical, natural disasters, economic shifts). Driving operational excellence through process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and performance measurement. Collaborating with sales, marketing, product, and finance to ensure supply chain capabilities support business growth and customer demands. Advising the C-suite and board of directors on strategic supply chain investments, market trends, and competitive advantages. Acting as an executive thought partner to founders or CEOs on all aspects of end‑to‑end supply chain optimization and strategic resilience. Key Requirements May Include: Proven experience in a senior supply chain, operations, logistics, or executive consulting role. Track record of successfully designing and implementing comprehensive supply chain strategies that drive efficiency, cost savings, and resilience. Deep expertise in global supply chain management, procurement, logistics, inventory optimization, and demand planning . Strong understanding of supply chain technologies and data analytics for operational insights. Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional leadership abilities, comfortable engaging with C-suite, suppliers, and operational teams. Strategic thinker with a detail‑oriented, problem‑solving, and highly analytical mindset. Prior experience as a fractional, interim, or consulting executive is a strong plus.
