THE SEARCH: DRAX Executive is delighted to partner with an organisation that serves as the backbone of Belgium's mobile connectivity. The company oversees a wide network of critical broadcast sites and supports operators through stable, long-term agreements. Originating from a major portfolio transfer within the telecoms sector, it continues to expand its footprint through committed new-site development. THE ROLE: We are looking for a driven, curious and hands-on Operational Controller to strengthen our finance team. You will be the first line of review on the monthly closing cycle, ensuring accuracy, discipline and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, enjoys building automation and smart reporting flows, and takes pride in enabling data-driven decisions and will report directly to the CFO. Key Responsibilities: Month-end Closing & Reporting Own and coordinate the monthly closing calendar and checklist Update monthly trackers (financial & operational) First-level review of monthly closing accuracy and completeness Variance analysis (month-on-month, YoY, actuals vs budget) Preparation of monthly reporting pack Support investor reporting (iLevel) ESG data collection & reporting coordination Prepare recurrent monthly investor presentation in PowerPoint Tax on pylon financial management: from actuals (follow-up and reporting) to budgeting Automation & Tools Develop and maintain process automations in Business Central & Power BI Optimise templates, presentations and reporting flows across ERP, Excel and PowerPoint Contribute to digitalisation and efficiency initiatives in Finance Operational Finance Accounts receivable follow-up and client relationships (for finance-related matters) KPI ownership – accuracy and timely reporting: site counts, tenant count, tenancy ratio, related operational indicators Tax on pylon financial management: from actuals (follow-up and reporting) to budgeting Policies & Controls Support PR-PO-GL framework implementation and compliance Maintain and follow up approval matrix Document and improve recurring processes THE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related 5 years' relevant experience in controlling, audit, accounting or FP&A Strong analytical mindset; accuracy and structure matter to you Comfort with ERP systems (Business Central experience is a plus) Very good Excel & PowerPoint skills; Power BI affinity is a strong asset Interest in process automation and continuous improvement Curious, proactive, reliable, willing to go deep and understand drivers Clear communicator, collaborative, comfortable challenging and being challenged Languages: English plus French or Dutch (trilingual a plus)
