We need youThe project:Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to strengthen their team.The job in a nutshell:You analyze the information needs of various stakeholders and translate them into data solutions.You take responsibility for the different elements involved in developing data products.You work on new reporting or the expansion of existing reports.You build reusable datasets or develop programs for data integration, transformation, and preparation.You perform ad-hoc analyses to answer specific questions.You ensure the quality of our data, as well as the security and confidentiality of the information.Is this you?You don't need to be a rare birdAlthough you can become one with us. You can fully spread your wings if you meet the following conditions:A master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics with a focus on informatics, or several years of relevant experience in this domain.An autonomous, proactive, planned, flexible, and results-oriented approach.Strong focus on collaboration.An analytical and synthetic mind: able to analyze and structure complex situations.You have a strong interest in technology and all technological developments.Good communication skills: you understand the functional aspect and can translate it into a technical solution.You have basic knowledge and experience with data and data transformations using, for example, SQL, Hadoop, (Py)Spark, Python, etc., and are willing to further develop in these areas.You score extra with:Bilingualism (Dutch/French).Knowledge of Finance and/or Risk Management, preferably in a banking context.Experience with QlikSense and data visualization.Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (Azure Synapse, DevOps).How afarax supports you?You benefit from our extensive networkYou will have access to projects that fit your expertiseWe help and support you throughout your projectWe offer the possibility to build a valuable and lasting partnershipCheck out more projects on: https://afarax.be/jobs/type/freelance/
