Cloud Architect Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid) Contract: Freelance About the assignmentFor a client based in Brussels, we are looking for a Cloud Architect to support the daily evolution of their cloud platforms. The focus of this role is on building clear, stable and secure cloud setups that teams can easily work with.You will join an environment where cloud is already in use, but where there is still plenty of room to improve structure, automation and consistency. What you'll be working onIn this role, you won't just design solutions on paper. You will work closely with technical teams to make sure cloud environments are practical, understandable and ready for day-to-day operations.Your work will include:Helping shape cloud environments that are easy to manage and scaleReviewing existing setups and suggesting improvementsSupporting teams with decisions around compute, storage, networking and securityAssisting with automation and Infrastructure as Code where neededWorking together with operations and security teams on stability, monitoring and access controlMaking sure cloud solutions remain compliant and well-documentedActing as a go-to person for cloud-related questions Who we're looking forYou don't need to be an expert in everything, but you are comfortable working with cloud technology and understand the basics of how cloud platforms are used in practice.
