We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join one of our client's teams.
Who are we?
EOLIS GROUP is a Digital and marketing In-housing Company that helps its clients grow their own in-house digital & marketing capabilities whether they need digital, creative, content, marketing, or tech skills or strategic thinking around in-housing models, organization, technology, finances, and talent.
What are your responsibilities?
- Act as the bridge between business and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment of business needs with IT solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications that guide development teams.
- Collaborate with domain architects and product owners to define and structure functional components and workflows.
- Develop and refine user stories, story mapping, BPMN diagrams, and functional models to provide clarity for all stakeholders.
- Ensure an iterative and structured approach to functional design, refining requirements throughout the development process.
- Work one sprint ahead of development teams to prepare detailed specifications and ensure smooth execution.
- Validate functionalities through testing and quality control, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with product owners, project managers, architects, software engineers, and UX designers.
Who are we looking for?
- 3 to 8 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role bridging business and IT.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in business process modeling (BPMN, UML, Wireframing, Domain Modeling, Story Mapping, User Story Writing).
- Critical thinker who challenges both business and IT to ensure optimal solutions and added value.
- Experience in Agile environments, with a solid understanding of Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and iterative development.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing work independently while maintaining a structured approach.
- Team player with a proactive mindset, comfortable working in a small, agile team.
- Strong communication skills, able to effectively gather requirements and align stakeholders.
- Fluency in Dutch (required), with English and French as a plus.
