Senior Tester Location: Bruxelles, Belgium Languages: English and French or Dutch Context of Hive Project: We are looking for a Senior Tester to join the Hive project. Hive is a digital solution designed to support the supervision of the financial sector. Its initial releases focus on regulatory data collection and report management from supervised institutions, assessment of management suitability, and secure data exchange with European and national supervisory authorities. This in-house developed platform replaces legacy systems by digitizing and integrating both existing and new functionalities into a single, modular solution. Key features include, but are not limited to: A dedicated portal for supervisory activities A central repository for collected documentation Regulation and reporting management Supervisory follow-up Supervisory metadata management Interfaces with external supervisory authorities The Hive solution consists of: A .NET application with an Angular frontend for recording and consulting data and metadata API-based integrations to and from the platform Migration of legacy data into the new solution Responsibilities: Providing test effort estimations and planning test activities Participating in user story reviews, ensuring requirements are testable, consistent, and complete Performing risk-based test analysis to define test types and execution order Preparing and executing test cases Collaborating with business experts on test case preparation and monitoring execution by business testers Coordinating test activities across development and user acceptance phases Coaching team members involved in testing activities, regardless of their testing background Managing defects, including readiness and criticality assessment, communication with development teams, and patch validation Reporting on test coverage, progress, and quality metrics to the project team and management Ensuring the quality and coverage of end-to-end and regression testing Using the XRAY test management tool Applying the project's defined methodologies and quality standards Test activity estimations and planning Documented and executed test cases in XRAY Documented defects in JIRA Review and maintenance of regression test cases in XRAY Reporting on test coverage, progress, and quality metrics Retesting of production defects All deliverables must be written in English Profile: Proven experience as a Senior Tester in software development projects Experience working in teams with both professional and non-professional testers Extensive experience in test analysis and execution Experience in regression and performance testing Strong hands-on experience with XRAY and JIRA Excellent knowledge of testing processes and methodologies Strong expertise in test analysis, execution, and defect management Good knowledge of regression and performance testing Experience with JIRA and XRAY Proficiency in Excel functions Knowledge of SQL Experience with API testing Ability to set priorities, organize team work, and coordinate multiple stakeholders Capability to coach and support non-professional testers Strong communication and negotiation skills Analytical mindset with strong synthesis abilities Proactive and solution-oriented attitude High attention to detail and quality Ability to deliver results on time and under pressure Interested in this opportunity?
