EU Public Affairs Associate Director (Brussels) Forward Global is an international risk and reputation management advisory firm delivering custom solutions for clients worldwide. Our clients include global corporations, trade associations, law firms, private equity and venture capital firms, foreign governments and sovereign wealth funds, international associations and NGOs, and family offices. The firm brings together more than 450+ advisors with backgrounds in international strategy, government relations & public affairs, communications, policy, and digital content creation. Forward Global has offices in Washington, D.C., Miami, Paris, Brussels, Montreal, London, and Abidjan. Our 50+ strong Brussels office, dedicated to European public affairs, supports businesses and organizations in navigating the complex institutional environment of the European Union. We operate across a variety of sectors: tech, telecommunications, creative industries, transport, agri-food, chemicals, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, services, and security/defense. Main Responsibilities Develop & lead high-stakes public affairs campaigns, providing senior-level advice on EU policy, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory risk, while acting as a trusted counselor to C-suite executives Drive growth of the Brussels practice by originating new business, expanding key client accounts, and leading, mentoring, and inspiring multidisciplinary public affairs teams Leverage deep knowledge of EU institutions, legislative processes, and political dynamics to shape effective advocacy campaigns, build influential networks across policymakers and opinion leaders, and deliver measurable results for clients Provide senior-level counsel and thought leadership to clients Profile Minimum of 15 years of experience in public affairs Proven track record in delivering successful public affairs strategies Extensive network of contacts within industry and key institutions Entrepreneurial mindset with talent for identifying and building relationships and translating those intotangible partnerships Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Offer Stimulating international, entrepreneurial and multicultural work environment across our global offices Working in a senior European leadership team with rich and varied experience Varied projects for a large range of interesting international clients Competitive salary related to experience level and very attractive performance-based Seniority level Executive Employment type Full-time Job function Business Development and Sales Industries Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
