Wat zal je doen als Tax Expert?
Als International Tax Expert rapporteer je aan de Strategic Finance Director en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren van de volledige tax compliance van de Lighthouse-groep en het analyseren van fiscale risico's en opportuniteiten. Je werkt nauw samen met de financiële en boekhoudkundige teams om optimaal te voldoen aan onze fiscale verplichtingen.
Waar zal je impact hebben?
- Je volgt de compliance binnen verschillende fiscale subdomeinen op zoals Sales Tax, VAT, Corporate Income Tax in een internationale context.
- Je bouwt een performante tax functie uit binnen de Lighthouse groep.
- Je blijft proactief bij op vlak van de belastingwetgeving (voornamelijk België, VS, VK en Spanje).
- Je coördineert de voorafbetalingen en aangiftes van alle internationale filialen in nauwe samenwerking met externe specialisten.
- Je bepaalt de tax posities in local GAAP en IFRS.
- Je onderhoudt relaties met externe belastingadviseurs.
- Je coördineert de belastingcontroles en staat de overheidsinstanties te woord.
- Je ondersteunt ons HR team met payroll taxes en loonoptimalisaties.
- Je ontwikkelt en implementeert een belastingstrategie en identificeert de mogelijkheden tot belastingbesparing.
Je zal deel uitmaken van het Strategic Finance-team waar je als eerste teamlid volledig verantwoordelijk zal zijn voor het tax domein. In deze rol draag je bij aan het opbouwen en vormgeven van de tax functie binnen het team. Je werkt nauw samen met het bredere finance team en andere teams binnen de organisatie.

Wie ben jij?
- Je hebt een masterdiploma in bijvoorbeeld economie of rechten, of je hebt gelijkwaardige ervaring opgebouwd.
- Je bent goed georganiseerd en in staat om (strakke) deadlines te halen;
- Je bent een teamplayer en hebt een brede business-mindset ontwikkeld.
- Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een tax functie, bij voorkeur in een internationale omgeving.
- Je bent zelfstandig en kan zeer nauwkeurig werken.
- Je bent vloeiend in het Engels. Nederlands is een plus.
