Our blue chip client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team for initially 12 months with strong possibility of yearly extensions. Please note that this role is fully onsite in central Brussels and candidates need to hold active EU clearance. Main Responsibilities: Implementation of Command and Control software and Deployable CIS Contribute to drafting of the call for tender for the final solution after the prototype validation. Capability of dealing with challenges at political, functional and technical level in a regulatory and governmental environments. Manage and deliver highly complex IT projects in accordance with Project Management Office (PMO) standards and agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills. Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of Projects. Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings. Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports. Communicate with stakeholders as outlined in communication plan to gain community support for the project and to solicit input to improve the project. Monitor all budgeted projects expenditures. Identify and evaluate the risks associated with the project activities and take appropriate action to control the risks. Liaise with programme management, external suppliers, and account manager Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors. Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience. Required skills and experience: Strong IT project management experience in a large scale environment. Previous experience of end to end management off complex project. Excellent command of English (written and spoken) Able to collaborate between different projects and requirements in an agile way. Have the mindset to pickup new requirements and learn new technologies for the purposes of providing the needed solution. Previous experience of working for an EU institution. Security Clearance (EU Secret or EU Top Secret) is required for this role.
