afarax is looking for a freelance Data Quality & Reporting Specialist. We need youThe project:Our client in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Data Quality & Reporting Specialist to strengthen their team.Expected deliveries:Primary Deliverable: Data Quality Report(s)Develop and refine data quality reports in Power BI, collaborating closely with data domain owners, stewards, and data governance consultant.Partner with data governance consultant, functional analysts & data engineers to ensure consistent and reusable data models supporting quality reporting.Support Data Stewards and Domain Owners in defining, validating, and interpreting data quality metrics.Secondary deliverable: Support Data Quality Framework creationCollaborate with the Data Management Lead and data domain owners to operationalize the overarching data quality framework, incorporating recurring anomalies and insights.Explore and profile datasets to understand data structures and quality issues.Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting findings and feeding them into framework evolution and visual reportingIs this you?Minimum 4–7 years of experience in data analysis and report creation roles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to translate data findings into business context.Proficiency in SQL and experience with Power BI.Familiarity with data modeling concepts and working across business and IT functions.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with data governance, data stewards, and technical teams.Self-driven, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs.Ability to thrive in a challenging and complex regulatory environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Quality and Client orientedAbility to work within a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervisionAbility to work with tight deadlinesFast learnerCommunication & Stakeholder ManagementData Analysis & ProfilingData Modeling & Governance CollaborationResilience & Adaptability in Regulatory ContextsSQL & Power BI ExpertiseHow afarax supports you?You benefit from our extensive networkYou will have access to projects that fit your expertiseWe help and support you throughout your projectWe offer the possibility to build a valuable and lasting partnershipCheck out more projects on: https://afarax.be/jobs/type/freelance/
