We're working with a Brussels-based financial institution who are one of the most trusted names in European banking. As the company continues it's growth, they are strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities and looking for a Senior Security Architect to help design secure systems that protect both data and trust.You will play a key role in defining and maintaining the company’s security architecture. Working closely with enterprise architects, engineers, and business stakeholders, you will make sure that every new technology and process follows a security-by-design approach.ResponsibilitiesDesign secure architecture frameworks for critical systems, both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS and Azure).Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews for major technology projects.Ensure alignment with key security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and compliance teams to embed security controls early in the delivery process.Define and maintain clear security principles, standards, and reference models.Provide guidance on regulatory requirements (GDPR, PSD2, EBA).Mentor engineers and raise security awareness across teams.Your ProfileExperience in information security, with experience or ambition to move into an architecture role.Deep understanding of network security, IAM, encryption, cloud security, and secure application design.Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally within finance, banking, or insurance.Confident communicator who can bridge the gap between technical detail and business strategy.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, CCSP, or SABSA are an advantage.The OfferUp to €130k for particularly senior candidates who interview well.Full benefits package including company car & benefits packageFlexible hybrid working model.Chance to lead your own team in the immediate-medium term future.12 ADV days.The chance to have a real impact on how the company protects its customers and its future.If you're interested and feel you have what it takes, send a CV to jacob.westley@vividresourcing.com
