For this Belgian company, we are currently looking for a junior/medior accountant to join their finance department, which consists of two people. Active for decades, the company has successfully reinvented itself over time through new products and various strategic acquisitions, enabling it to offer a wide range of services to its customers. Accountant – The Job Under the supervision of the company's CFO, you will be in chage of A-Y Accounting: Booking invoices (purchase, sales, bank statements) into the accounting system Participation in the month- and year-end closings Monthly VAT returns Establish and send sales invoices to clients, follow-up of unpaid invoices Execute payments to vendors Main point of contact during audits Help in the automatization and optimization of practices within the financial department Accountant – About You You have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent (business, finance)1 to 6 years' experience as an accountant, either in an accounting firm or in-house You are fluent in Dutch and you can manage in French (A2/B1) Accountant – The Offer A competitive salary package: 3000€ - 4000€ gross, possibility to receive a company car (depending on your experience), net expenses, meal vouchers, group insurance, 13th month and holiday pay Flexible working hours and extra-holidays: 26 yearly holidays based on a 37-hour workweek. You can work from home one day per week A stable position in a company that has grown significantly over the years, with clients in Belgium and throughout Europe.
