As a fast-growing producer of pea protein and pea starch in Belgium, we are looking for a Quality Assurance & Control Manager to strengthen our team and help us build excellence in food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Your role As Quality Assurance & Control Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our quality management system while ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards.
You will:
Manage and improve our FSSC 22000-certified quality system
Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across the organization
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards
Manage audits from certification bodies, customers, and authorities
Analyze quality data, complaints, non-conformities, and implement corrective actions
Lead continuous improvement projects related to quality and food safety
Collaborate closely with production, operations, R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams
Drive a strong quality culture throughout the organization
Support customer requests, specifications, and documentation
Your profile ✔ Master's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Bioengineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety within the food or ingredient industry
- Thorough knowledge of food safety management systems (FSSC 22000 & HACCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to work in a growing scale-up environment
- Fluent in French and English
