What will you be doing?
As a consultant, you will be the point of contact between colleagues and clients. What does this entail?
- You will consult with clients, financial market parties, and legal advisors on environmental, safety, and health matters. Establishing contacts and engaging in conversations with clients to help your clients should be second nature to you.
- You will be responsible for building client relationships and identifying their sustainability needs to address their challenges.
- You will advise clients on the impact of regulations and conduct assessments and reporting in this context. Previous experience is beneficial, but if you do not have prior experience in these areas, you are expected to independently delve into these topics to further develop your knowledge. Your colleagues will, of course, also support you in this.
- With solid support from TAUW Belgium and other TAUW countries, you will develop a business and team, and you will grow the market with an entrepreneurial approach and a long-term perspective.
- Finally, you will research the market, opportunities, and trends so that you will be able to respond effectively to the needs of your clients and prospects.
Who are we looking for?
You have a few years of relevant experience in a financial, economic, legal, or ESG-related field. To successfully fulfill this role, you ideally bring the following combination of skills and knowledge:
- You will act as a competent interlocutor for financial counterparts and companies.
- You are analytic, with a keen eye for detail and nuance. You are able to maintain focus on objectives while being aware of the various players in the field and their roles in the process.
- A first experience within project management and the possibility/skills to function well in a multidisciplinary and international environment, even under pressure, are important.
- You have an excellent knowledge of English followed by a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
- You are entrepreneurial and comfortable in an environment where you can shape and give substance to your role. You are process-oriented and results-driven
- Making a significant impact at the intersection of finance/investment and the environment in your career is what you are looking for
- You want to deepen your understanding of European regulations regarding the Green Deal and the various instruments and regulations in this context, or you already possess this knowledge.
