Responsibilities- Review and analysis of the contractor submitted monthly forecast schedules, monthly reports, interface milestones, fabrication requirements and scope executive.
- Early Flagging of potential risk, suggest a corrective action for slippage.
- Input to development of project progress report and key performance indicators.
- Assist the analysis of criteria paths, highlights to the planner.
- Monitor actual progress against planned progress.
- Analyze impact of proposed changes to project scope/ requirements and re-baseline the schedule to incorporate approved changes.
- Assist planning leads in entering and maintaining database records required to automate various dashboards.
- Support in the development and accuracy of schedule reports based on the schedule processes developed projects.
- Identify and help support further automation of repetitive tasks, or improvements on presentation of existing report design.
- Weekly and monthly progress s-curves and updating.
- Supplementary reporting on an ad-hoc basis.
- Support increasing specific reports and analysis during key periods of the project.
- Critical path analysis and reporting.
- Weekly and monthly KPI's.
- Change management review and analysis.
- Monthly report support.
- Good practice with Primavera P6.
- Good practice with Excel.
- Safely drives results.
- Communicates with impact.
- Ability to multitask.
- Analytical, critical, and logical.
- Works under pressure.
- Understanding of data integrity and importance of fully integrated systems.
- Enthusiasm for continuous process improvement.
- 1-5 years planning and/or project engineering experience in major projects or large industrial projects.
- Proficient in use of spreadsheets and databases.
- Ability to prepare planning information for presentations and reports.
- An asset to have experience with planning / scheduling systems and tools such as Primavera, progress and performance measurement tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understand cost control, charge management and contractual functions. One or more of the below or equivalent experience.
