Pauwels Consulting is seeking a senior bioinformatics engineer to migrate pipelines to cloud HPC, automate NGS workflows and build a new PCR primer/probe design tool. You will containerize software, optimize for Slurm clusters, and deliver full documentation and a maintenance plan.
The role requires a PhD/masters in bioinformatics or related field, 5+ years in bioinformatics engineering, and strong Python, Nextflow or Snakemake, plus Docker and cloud experience. Fluent English is essential.
