As part of the Trade Marketing team France-BeLux, reporting to the Marketing, true ambassador of the Marketing Plan execution with field for both channels (On & Off Trade), you will ensure the proper implementation of the strategy defined during the marketing plans and more particularly be responsible for the activation programs, POSM and retailers specific activations (newsletters, banners…)

Meaningful Work From Day One

You will be under the responsibility of the Senior Trade Marketing Manager France-BeLux, who is driving the trade marketing strategy, including gifting and promotions.

This is an office/hybrid role - 4 days a week in the office.

What You Can Expect

  1. Actively participate in the definition of the annual trade marketing plan at strategic & tactical level setting the KPI's & planning in collaboration with Brand Marketing and Sales team, by analyzing past activation programs, sharing your recommendations and optimization, maximizing ROI and brand equity building.
  2. Be an active player maximizing synergies between On & Off Trade and between France & BeLux, in terms of activations and POS Materials to reduce complexity.
  3. As the guarantor of the perfect execution of Brown Forman brands at the Point of Consumption and Point of Sales, act as the transmission belt between marketing and sales / field departments.
  4. Manage, report and monitor the allocated budget in close partnership with finance and the rest of the trade marketing team.
  5. Collect & share competitor's activations, best practices to have a better understanding of the BeLux market and consumers.

You will play a cornerstone role in these specific missions:

  1. Activations programs at the POS / PoC (On & Off Trade): Actively contribute together with brand marketing teams to the brands activation strategy, developing the concept (from agency brief to execution) or adapting the concept from France. You present to the sales force, setting and following the quotas, scheduling, ensuring excellence in execution, and course-correcting if needed.
  2. POS Material for field sales force (On & Off Trade): Following annual brand plans, you will recommend out of European, France, close countries assets, the catalog of field resources in line with the in-store activation plans. In addition, you manage the development of specific resources with procurement teams. You present all material to the sales team, following up on quotas, ensuring POSM is delivered on time in full at the warehouse. You manage the POS Shop interface, with the integration of new items.
  3. Retailers specific activations (On & Off Trade): Develop creatives for specific activations at client level, bringing brand equity to life into the retailer environment, in close contact with sales & brand marketing, setting a clear process to ensure on time in full.

What You Bring to the Table

  1. Fluent English, French both speaking and writing, Flemish could be a plus. You can expect frequent trips to France and BeLux.
  2. Collaborative: likes to work in a non-hierarchical team, to bring out solutions (solution seeker spirit essential).
  3. Synthetic and rigorous, analytical, reliable and organized.
  4. Good communicator and great interpersonal skills to interact with various teams.
  5. Versatile: ability to perform various tasks and adapt to situations, with a 'can do' spirit, hands on with a true appetite for operations.
  6. Passion for brand, excellence in execution, and real appreciation and understanding of experiential marketing and premium products.

What Makes You Unique

  1. Education: Master's degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent) in Marketing.
  2. Experience: 2-4 years of experience (including internships) in Trade Marketing or operational marketing. A field experience will be a plus.
