Oversee complex audit projects – be the go-to person for your audit clients and take the lead in challenging audits. Use your analytical skills to help them see the bigger picture of their business. Build strong client relationships – no matter who your client is, you can tell them what they need to hear. Ask the right questions and establish professional yet personal relationships that make your audit work both productive and rewarding. Deliver technical excellence – work out solid audit procedures, prepare detailed working papers, and make sure your work meets the high professional standards that our clients expect. Guide colleagues – share your knowledge with your junior colleagues, helping them develop their technical skills while building your own leadership abilities. Stay ahead of the curve – thanks to the BDO Academy and external training, you keep up with the latest audit standards and techniques. What do you bring to the table? Your Foundation Master's degree in Economics or Business Engineering, with additional financial‑economic qualifications being a strong asset. At least 2 years of audit experience, with strong technical and client management skills. Fluency in Dutch or French and English; additional languages are valued and can open doors to our diverse client portfolio. Your Personality Communication with clients, colleagues, and team members is one of your main strengths; you understand that asking the right questions prevents mistakes and saves time. You have strong analytical skills and naturally see the bigger picture. You’re curious and willing to dig deep, never afraid to ask questions until you truly understand. You’re flexible and proactive, adapting your approach to different clients and situations. You thrive on variety and enjoy the challenge of working with different types of businesses and sectors.
