- Conduct audits of AI tools and practices across data, models, and software engineering, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to assess AI services, support model recalibration, and retrain models as needed.
- Act as an expert within AI, generating innovative ideas, insights, and opinions, and sharing them with colleagues and customers.
- Engage in knowledge sharing through training, knowledge sharing sessions, and other forms of communication.
Where you're going to get started
As an AI Architect, you can and will dive deep into the core of artificial intelligence. You will apply your skills to real scenarios in different domains, such as drug discovery in healthcare, predictive maintenance in transportation, the development of next generation chatbots, and so much more. Using techniques like computer vision, forecasting, NLP, optimization, and generative AI will be daily routine, without getting lost in the complexity. The most beautiful solutions ever built in AI are the ones that are as simple, yet impactful as possible. This is you
- At least 7+ years of experience in AI and Data Science.
- Multiple examples where you coordinated a team in building end-to-end AI solutions.
- Experience in supporting the secure, rapid development, training, evaluation, debugging, and deployment of AI models across practical and theoretical scenarios.
- Experienced in developing (deep learning) models.
- Experience with modern computer vision and image recognition tools or platforms to develop and implement solutions related to image classification, object detection and tracking, semantic and instance segmentation.
- Expertise in working with LLMs (GPT, BERT, etc.) and are familiar with NLP and LLM evaluation metrics.
- Hands-on experience in the development of AI solutions in cloud environments like Microsoft AWS or Azure.
- You approach problem-solving with an open-minded and constructive attitude.
- You have the drive to stay up to date with the fast-changing AI landscape.
- Maintain a helicopter view: You excel at maintaining a high-level perspective to effectively prioritize tasks in projects.
- Excellent communicator: you can translate complex business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
- You are an excellent mentor: you will not only design the architecture but also ensure our consultants successfully implement it.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, particularly in Python, to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Guide consultants from Proof of Concept (POC) to production, leveraging your infrastructure knowledge to support deployment and optimization.
- Utilize your infrastructure knowledge to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance production systems.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French and in English.
- You have experience in improving AI/ML strategies.
- You are resident in Belgium and look forward to working a limited days a week at the client's or Ordina offices.
