Job: Senior Software Team Lead Location: Leuven, Belgium Employment Type: Permanent We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to lead and drive a cross-functional software development team working. This role is primarily focused on people management, technical leadership, business alignment, and some hands-on coding. You will act as a key bridge between the development team and the business, ensuring technical solutions align with business priorities, timelines, and quality standards. While hands-on development is minimal, a strong technical background is essential to guide architectural decisions, mentor team members, and challenge solutions where needed. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment Provide technical leadership and oversight for solutions built with C#.NET and Angular, ensuring quality, scalability, and best practices. Act as the primary interface between the development team and business stakeholders Participate in business and planning meetings to gather, clarify, and translate business needs into technical objectives Monitor delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to ensure alignment with priorities and timelines Promote efficient development processes and continuous improvement across the team Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer science or any related studies Strong professional background in C#.NET and Angular, with the ability to evaluate and guide technical solutions Proven experience in a Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role Solid understanding of modern software development practices and architectures Experience working closely with business stakeholders and translating business needs into technical outcomes Strong communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment. Dutch and English speaking.
