Plant Controller

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Plant Controller for a permanent position based in the Flemish Brabant.Our client is a fast growing company active in the industrial sector.As Plant Controller you will be responsible for:Controlling & Accounting:Participate in closing the books and analyzing the accounts within the expected deadlines in US GAAP and BE GAAP;Organize and ensure all current financial, accounting and administrative tasks in the country (including external auditors, taxes, banks, and all mandatory administrative statements);Implement financial procedures in the plant and ensure they are followed;Be responsible for the reliability of all accounting, financial, and management information produced on the plant;Perform financial analysis for the plant and make appropriate recommendations;Ensure group Finance compliance and statutory local regulation compliance through the scope he/she is in charge of.Budgeting and reporting:Actively participate in drawing up the budget for the Plant by working closely with Plant personal to establish cost forecasts;Proceed to the reporting;Monitor changes in the Plant budget and keep the Finance Senior Management informed.Advice and support to the Plant Manager:Be a Business Partner for the Plant Manager and the other departments of the plant;Provide sound financial advice to the Plant Manager to assist in minimizing manufacturing costs and meeting plant objectives;Advise the department managers on implementation of accounting and management procedures;Advise the department managers on budget preparation.The required profile for the Plant Controller position:Education: Business School or Master degree in Finance and/or Economics;10 years of experience in a controlling role;Experience in a production environment is a strong asset;Trainings: SAP, Excel, Reporting tools (HFM);Main skills: See Skills Matrix;Languages: English and Dutch.Interested in this position of Plant Controller at a young and dynamic company?
