Your Key Responsibilities Will Be- Start-up and coordination of improvement projects and feasibility studies related to plant issues, new product developments, technological innovations, and regulatory changes
- Ensure projects follow the Improve Plant, Small Projects, and Large Projects processes and best practices
- Define project scope, estimate costs, prepare credit applications, and execute projects from concept through completion
- Manage project budgets, milestones, and scope to ensure successful execution
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations
- Allocate human, technical, and financial resources for assigned projects
- Communicate project progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for major plant disruptions and develop improvement proposals based on findings
- Promote a strong safety culture and proactively address risks and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain a robust documentation and information system for project and portfolio management
- Support management in developing and deploying the Improve Plant strategy
- Coach, monitor, and stimulate project execution teams to ensure the success of the Improve Plant process
- Master's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
- Lean Six Sigma certification (at least Lean Practitioner level)
- Strong knowledge of RCA and FMEA methodologies
- Project management experience (3+ years), including planning, installation, and start-up
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Experience with statistical techniques and evaluation tools
- Affinity with IT tools such as COMOS, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power BI, and IP Tool
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
