QA Associate - Radiopharmaceuticals Belgium – Initial 12 month contract, with extension thereafter Job Description A specialised organisation active in nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical manufacturing is strengthening its Quality function to support ongoing production and scale-up activities. The company operates in a highly regulated environment and plays a critical role in supplying high-quality radioisotopes for cancer therapies. The freelance QA Associate / Consultant will support the Quality team with a strong operational focus on documentation, Quality Management System (QMS) activities, batch record review, supplier qualification, and the structured reduction of an existing QA backlog. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, working closely with Production and Quality Control. Essential Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment • Hands-on experience with batch record review, deviations, and CAPA management • Strong experience with QA documentation and working within a QMS • Practical knowledge of supplier qualification and supplier management activities Preferred Requirements • Experience in pharmaceutical, radiopharmaceutical, or radioisotope manufacturing • Experience working in a GMP and/or GDP-regulated environment • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as cGMP, ISO 9001, FDA, or equivalent • Proven ability to work through QA backlogs in a structured and efficient manner • Strong organisational skills and a pragmatic, hands-on mindset Practicalities • Start Date: ASAP / Flexible • Contract Duration: Initial 12 months (extension highly likely)• Location: Mol, Belgium (Hybrid or on-site presence required due to controlled environment)• Additional: Strong operational QA role focused on execution and backlog reduction Interested?
